Welcome to the HP English Community --
Printer supports Borderless printing
Borderless Printing | Yes (up to 8.5 x 11 in, 210 x 297 mm) |
Although not always included in the Printer Specifications, there are sometimes limitations in the printer software that include which paper size and type is compatible with other settings.
What you can do to resolve conflicts depends on what tools you have available --
- The apps and software used to print and scan are dependent on the Operating System / version
- The printer must be alerted to the (current) Paper Size / Type of paper - Tray and Paper - The exact message content might differ according to how the app / software interprets the source of the issue.
- The behavior of apps and software differs by device - that is, HP Smart behaves a bit differently on Windows as does the same named application on your mobile device (tablet, phone).
- Depending on the printer model, HP Smart might include HP Smart Printing . >>> Ask if you are using HP Smart Printing -- this specialty app should be preventing conflict errors. <<<
While "issue" does not tell us enough information to guess what you are using or where you are seeing the conflict message, the source of the message itself might help you figure out where the settings are stuck.
If you cannot find where to check --
Perhaps tell us more about which app or software you using, plus at what point and where you are seeing the message.
