My HP Desk Jet 2652 does not print the bottom half inch of page. i went through all the steps with a tech and Hp sent me a new printer but it is still not printing bottom of page

Hi,

How big is the bottom margin?

 

The minimum bottom print margin for A4 size is 12.7mm (1.27cm), the printer cannot exceed this margin and cannot print below it as listed by its specifications:

 

Minimum print margin, bottom (A4)
12.7 mm

1/2 inch"  so what you are saying is that every thing i do i have to live with the bottom half inch missing? how come the print allignment page comes out whole? Bottom First? how do i make the printer print the bottom first on everything

The hardware cannot exceed that margin by design with any printout, the alignment page is printed in opposite so the bottom margins appear as theh top margin which is smaller (see below video as example):

You must design your pages with not les than 0.5 inches at the bottom to print correctly..

thank you for the kindergarden video . that is not the problem. after the allignment page is scaned press copy the two squares at the bottom are cut off.  i can design my page with half inch margin but what about pages i copy or photos i print  i just want to set it once so everything on the page original is on the page copy. not cut off and on some stuff like crafts cant change sizes. how do i set the printer to print the bottom of document first like the allignment page and as for the line up corner under the lid . sure if you dont need the bottom of what ever you are trying to copy. any ideas to help me out thank you.

If your original have a bottom margin of 0.5 inches or more it will not be cut.

 

If your original have a smaller margin it will cut when copying.

If the top margin is higher you may place the original with its bottom part facing to the top and then copy it.

 

If it have smaller margins, as a workaround you may scan a such to a PDF and print it byu selecting Fit to Printable Area on the used program.

i got that part thank you.. lets say im using hallmark card studio 3d projects print now it is going to print top first and cut bottom making the project no good but if it would print bottom first and cut off top it will make a good project is this possible with a setting or no? there is no way to do it using the studio .
