I purchased a 9015e printer today, and have not been able to get it to recognize the ink cartridges that came with it. The error reads, "Cartridge problem - one or more cartridges missing or damaged." I've tried resetting the printer, cleaning the contacts, and reinstalling the genuine HP cartridges. I even tried installing a (brand new) extra package of the 962 ink I bought with the machine. Neither of them works. Has this happened to anyone else? Not very comforting having this much trouble on day 1.

I would return the printer and exchange it. Dead on arrival happens and that is what warranty is for.
