Bypass setup cartridge hp envy 7155

Product: HP ENVY PHOTO 7155

I was gifted a HP ENVY Photo 7155 Printer without the SETUP Cartridges. I purchased cartridges but it will not let me use them. It says I have to have the SETUP Cartridges. Please let me know how I can by-pass this requirement so that I can use my printer. Thank you!

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.  I will be glad to help you. I understand you do not have the setup ink cartridges. To bypass the message on the printer the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer. It is different for every printer model.

Hi, 

I tried setting up my printer yesterday but I continue getting the message that I need to use the setup cartridges to use my printer. I do not have the printer cartridges. The model is HP Envy Photo 7155, the serial number is TH993DW0ZW and the product number is Z3M52A.

I have the same problem with my HP Envy Photo 7155 all-in-one printer.  In trying to set it up it is telling me to use the SETUP cartridge.  I believe I am using the correct cartridge.  It says "single use only" on it.  But I can't get past this message.  How do I bypass this?  My printer info is:  Product K7G93A  /  Serial # [personal info removed].
