Hello, I have a photosmart 5520 that is new and was found after my dad passed away. We would like to use the printer but the box didn’t have any cartridges. We have installed new ink cartridges but cannot get past the setup screen asking for the setup cartridges. How can I bypass this issue so I can use the printer? Thanks

Hi @Docfiz ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
To Bypass Using Setup Cartridges for Bypass setup cartridges hp photosmart 5520 the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
