I would very much like to have help in bypassing the setup cartridges in my new 7800. It did not come with any! Please let me know as soon as possible. I am stopped dead in my home office without it. Thanks!

Let us perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the use of setup ink cartridges.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Mr. "Lake", I am somewhat embarrassed but, checking the carton box one more time I shook (again) the styrofoam boxes and out popped the starter cartridges. Again, apologies for taking up your time. Incidentally, the printer works perfectly.
