Hi @Gerda9,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To clean the ink cartridges on an HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 printer, follow these steps.

Turn on the Printer: Ensure the printer is powered on.

Open the Cartridge Access Door: Gently open the cartridge access door. This should expose the ink cartridges.

Remove the Cartridges: Carefully remove the ink cartridges from their slots. Be cautious to avoid touching the nozzles or electrical contacts.

Clean the Cartridges:

  • Using a Lint-Free Cloth: Dampen a lint-free cloth or cotton swab with water. Gently wipe the ink cartridge nozzles to remove any dried ink or debris. Avoid using paper towels or tissues, as they can leave fibers behind.
  • For the Printhead: If the printhead is accessible and removable, gently clean the nozzles with a slightly damp cloth or cotton swab. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting it.

Reinsert the Cartridges: Once cleaned and dried, reinsert the cartridges back into their respective slots. Make sure they click into place securely.

Close the Cartridge Access Door: Close the access door firmly.

Print a Test Page: To ensure everything is working correctly, print a test page or alignment page if your printer has the option.

If you continue to experience issues after cleaning the cartridges, it might be necessary to run the printer's built-in cleaning cycle from software.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
