Hello i put a new ink in my deskjet 3835 printer when i opened the printer it said that the ink is not placed properly i tried and its says the samething what do i do?

@zactsar, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Make sure you are using compatible HP ink cartridges in the printer.
Check if the plastic tape if any is removed from the ink cartridges before placing it in the printer.
Refer to this document to know how to replace/insert the ink cartridges - Replacing the Ink Cartridges
If the issue persists, reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
