Just need to know if I can print transparencies on a smart tank 6000

This printer does not support printing on transparencies.

The challenge with transparencies is that the ink tends to pool rather than dry and then smear. If you can find a inkjet transparency that has a layer designed to absorb and dry ink you might be able to print them. Part of the issue may come down to paper path. Too curved a path tends to cause issues as the paper bends before the ink is dry.
