My printer went off line for a while and I couldn't figure out how to fix it at first. I was finally able to get it to connect to the WiFi but it updated and with this new update I don't get the option to resize the image to a specific size. All I find is the paper size.

Hi @Panda0223,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're having trouble finding the option to resize the image to a specific size after a printer update, there are a few things you can check and try.
Printer Software on Computer:
- Ensure that you have the latest printer software installed on your computer. Sometimes, updating the printer drivers or software can resolve compatibility issues and bring back missing features.
- Visit the official HP website to download and install the latest drivers and software for your specific printer model.
Printing Preferences:
- Open the document you want to print.
- Go to "File" > "Print" to open the Print dialog.
- Look for a button or link that says "Printer Properties," "Preferences," or "Advanced Settings."
- Check if there's an option for image resizing or scaling within these settings.
Print Settings in the Application:
- Some applications have their own print settings that may override the printer settings. Check the print settings within the application you're using to see if there are options for image resizing.
Printer Control Panel:
- Access your printer's control panel. This is usually a touchscreen or a set of buttons on the printer itself.
- Navigate through the menu options and look for any image resizing or scaling options.
HP Smart App:
- If your printer supports it, consider using the HP Smart app. This app often provides additional features and settings compared to standard print dialogs.
- Open the HP Smart app, select your printer, and look for any image resizing options.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- In addition to updating the printer drivers, check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Firmware updates can address bugs and introduce new features.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
