Hi @DRT1149,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The E0 error message is related to ink cartridge issues on your HP 6065e printer. Here are steps you can take to resolve this issue:

Check Ink Cartridges Compatibility:

  • Ensure you are using the correct cartridges for your printer model. For HP 6065e printer, confirm that HP 67 black and tri-color (or HP 67XL) cartridges, or HP 305 black and tri-color cartridges are compatible.

Inspect Ink Cartridges:

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly seated in their slots. Sometimes, slight misalignment can cause error messages.
  • Remove and then reinsert cartridges properly. Follow the steps on the front panel display or printer manual for proper installation.

Reset Printer:

  • Unplug the printer again for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in. Restart the printer to see if the error clears.

Clean the Contacts:

  • Clean the ink cartridge contacts carefully with a lint-free cloth to remove any dust or ink residue. This can help in establishing a proper connection with the printer.

Update Printer Firmware:

Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

I hope this helps.
