I am trying to connect a brand new Envy 5055 printer to a secure wi-fi at college. When I select that network on the printer setup, I get a message that says 'Unable to connect to the network. This network uses an unsupported type of authentication or encryption.' I have been told by the school's IT department that the printer needs to work with WPA2 Enterprise Networks in order to be able to connect to this particular wi-fi. The printer is brand new, so I have a hard time believing it's already outdated. Is the network just behind and can't support the printer? Is there a drive or firmware I need to update on the printer to make this work?

Hi,
Consumer printers support standard security such as WEP or WPA security, not enterprise-level security such as WPA-Enterprise.
A such is only supported by enterprise-level printers (e,g, HP Laserjet Enterprise printers), not by any HP Envy printer.
