I opened the access door to remove a paper jam and now I can't close the door.

@mbec Did you go through the user guide for details on how the access door needs to be closed? Click here if you haven't done that yet.

None of the suggestions helped.
I finally resorted to "brute force" to close the door and everything worked normally.
Obviously, not the proper solution but fortunately it worked.
