Disk with printer allows me to tick the agreement and then shuts down. Have downloaded setup file from HP but can't extract the exe file. Tried deleting the download but was informed I couldn't as it was already open in HP

Disk with printer shuts down after I tick the agreement. Downloaded the setup instructions from HP but couldn't open the file. Tried to delete the download but was informed I couldn't as it was open in HP Webpack. How do I proceed? New to such wonders as webpacks, whatever they are.

Hi

Restart your PC unplug the printer, uninstall all the Printer related S/W if any

If the Drivers CD does not work you can download the drivers from the link and install it

Hope this helps.

Thanks Professor. I had already uninstalled and the new download wouldn't open as it was open in HP Webpack. That is where I came unstuck as I don't know how to open the webpack.
