Upset and confused with the Instant Ink service. I used it for a while and then I stopped using it. Not paying anymore the subscription so bought hp cartridges. The printer worked with these for a while and now has stopped working, despite having plenty of ink yet. Display message is “Cannot print. Visit www.hpinstantink.com for information”. When you visit that link it only allows you to sus scribe to the Instant Ink subscription.
I have seen posts by other users with the same issue. Cannot believe hp would not let me use full hp cartridges bought from hp. Really annoyed with hp ink system. Will take this into account for future purchases, and to not recommend this to anyone.

@Rachelbell, Welcome to HP Support Community!
The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps!
