My question is very similar to this one.
Product: HP Tango (Bought in the US)
Product Number: 2RY54A
I recently moved from USA to Singapore and was trying to install the local ink cartridge (804). However, #804 wouldn't be recognized without a regional reset. After contacting tech support on Whatsapp, I was told regional reset can only be done on a PC?
After replying that I do not own a PC at all, I was further told that I have to take my printer to a repair center to have it reset. Is it really the case? The question I quoted above seems to suggest that it can be done at Mac. The asker is also a Mac owner and the agent did send him regional reset instructions.
QUOTE: I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
Also, HP Tango has no USB ports.
Thanks.

@GY3, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Yes, the reset can be performed from a MAC if you have the HP Smart app installed from the App Store. For this model printer, the reset can be tried wirelessly.

Hi, try these steps:
HP Smart via USB:
- Launch HP Smart and click the product ink levels to open the Supported Cartridges window.
- Hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys and then right-click on the empty area to the right of the ink levels.
- The Set New Regions window opens.
Hope this helps.
