My problem appears to be different from similar ones that have been solved. I want to print single-sided from Microsoft Word. I can successfully do this from other applications including Microsoft PowerPoint.

All the advice tells me to go to the dialogue box and the solution is there. It often also says that if you cannot see it, click on the show details button (next to the PDF button) at the bottom of the dialogue box. But, on my computer, on Word, this option is not available. See the screengrab below.

So my question is: please, could you tell me how do I change the settings to allow for single-sided printing?

I am using:

  • Apple Mac Mini 2018
  • macOS 10.14.4
  • HP Envy 4520 printer over wifi
  • Microsoft Word for Mac v16.24
