I'm using Word 2016. Following the instructions in word, I select 14" paper, print on both sides, Pages = bookfold. What I get is simplex printing with only half of many pages being printed. The original page format in word is 8.5" x 11". What am I missing? I had no problems with my HP OJPro 8100. Am I missing something?

Welcome to the HP English Community --

The printer specifications do not show support for 2-sided printing using 14 inch paper.

Standard Media Sizes (duplex, Imperial)Letter; executive; Not supported for borderless photo
Standard Media Sizes (duplex, metric)A4; B5; Not supported for borderless photo

Can you post an example where you are setting 2-sided printing for the Legal Sized paper?

What else?

Booklet / 2-sided printing is supported on standard sized, regular paper (Letter / A4).

Examples of Booklet printing are included later in this message.

Recheck EWS to make sure the Paper Size is set to Legal.

Check Default Print Options for your Tray setting to match the paper size in that tray.

Next,

Reminder

Let Adobe Reader handle the duplex (2-sided) setting by selecting Booklet

AND

Do not add the Duplex (2-sided) setting in Properties.

Note that the following folded card sample is other than what you describe.

Printing "Landscape" might indicate you want the "fold" at the top.

The example is for a half-fold "tall" card - Book, taller than wide, Binding on Left

It appears this OfficeJet Pro (misnomer?) does not like 8.5 x 14 paper for booklets. Which is too bad as I was trying to pring a bulletin for the funeral of a 96 year old lady. It printed on 8.5 x 11, but the older folk will need bleeding magnifying glasses to read it.

Thank you.
