My printer connects to my home router automatically and has been for years. I went to print today, and it was no longer connected (this occasionally happens), so I unplugged it from the wall and plugged it back in (my normal fix). It still will not connect. So I tried to reconnect to my internet using the wireless wizard. It would not connect and printed a report that said FAIL for No Filtering. I then tried to reconnect to my router using the button on top of the router to allow the printer to connect on its own. But I again received the same message No Filtering FAIL. I have never had this happen and have no idea what it means. Can anyone help me? I'm guessing that it is on its last leg since I have had a lot of problems with it lately.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that the printer is not connecting to your wireless network.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor and it will automatically fix the wireless connectivity issues.
Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor from this Link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe
Run PSDR v5.0.2
Once the PSDR detects the Printer, it will show up the IP address and Software Status.
Select the correct Printer and click on Next.
PSDR will check if the Printer is on the Network and communication between the PC and the Printer. Once the connection check is done, click on Fix Printing
Once PSDR goes through all checks and automatic fixes, click on Print a test page.
Regardless if PSDR printed the test page or not, click on “NO PRINT”
PSDR will then notify you that there is an update available, click on continue, and PSDR will apply the patch and ask for a reboot.
Post restart the PSDR will run automatically to check for more issues. If no issue found close PSDR.
Also, try using the HP Smart App and let me know if that helps. Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/hp-smart/9wzdncrfhwlh

Thanks so much!! The only way I could get that to work was to find a cable to connect my printer to my laptop. That allowed the updates to run. Prior to that, my laptop could not connect to the printer. Thanks for the help!
