I keep getting a Cartridge Jam message. I can manually move the cartridge from side to side, and it will also move when I hit the "OK" button on the screen. When it does move on its own, it ends up off to one side or the other. I do not see anything blocking the pathway. It was preceded by a paper jam, but that has been totally cleared out. No scraps of paper remain. I have also popped all the cartridges out and back in, turned the printer off & on, and disconnected the power cord at the printer and the wall socket, etc. Nothing gets rid of the error message.

Hi @DC954,
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd like to help!
I understand that your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer displays a paper jam error when there is no paper jam found. Also, the print carriage is stuck on the right side. Not to worry, I'll be glad to assist you with this case.
Was there really a paper jam in the past or any other hardware changes (ink cartridge replacement, etc.)?
While you respond to that. I recommend you perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
NOTE: You may skip any steps that have been attempted before.
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected to the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
- Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.

Thank you for your reply. The problem was a cartridge jam, not a paper jam. There was an earlier paper jam, but that was cleared up and no additional paper or fragments were found. No ink cartridges were replaced recently, and I tried replacing all the cartridges that showed a low level "just in case." Also, the cartridge was able to be moved from side to side manually or on its own after the printer was turned on (but the cartridge jam message still came on). I had tried all the "rebooting" with the power cord disconnected, etc.
In any event, it is all a moot point now. I replaced the printer. Thank you for your attention.
