In sort :are HP 63 and HP 302 ink cartridge the same ?
I bought a "Envy 4528 All-In-One printer" while I lived in Europe. Now I moved back to North-America an I need a new ink cartridge. According to HP's site https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c04704159 the correct cartridge is : 63 in North-America and 302 in Europe. Are those two the same thing with different names ?
I would like to have a confirmation that a HP 63 cartridge will be accepted by my European printer before I buy it.
Thanks in advance.

HP Printers - Find and Install Cartridges after Moving to another Country. The printer needs to be regionalized to the new country by contacting HP directly.
You will need new cartridges from the country you are in at the time you contact HP below.

Note: If the printer is out of warranty follow these steps to dispute the issues as the cartridges are in warranty. You will then be provided with the contact details for this matter.

Thank you sabretooth04, using the first link that you provided, I have been able to open a case and then call the HP help center. They have been able to regionalize my printer and now it works ! Here are a few details that other people experiencing the same problem should know :
- As for DVD player, HP printers come with an artificial region presetted in it. It will refuse to use a cartridge from another region, even if, for all other aspects, it seems to be the exact same cartridge !
- You need to buy and install both the black and the color cartridges in order to change the region of the printer. In my case, the black ink was empty but the color cartridge was almost full... no matter, I had to throw away my almost new 302 color cartridge and replace by a 63.
I have a question : on HP website (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02558798) it is written that "HP customizes some printers and ink cartridges to meet local customer needs". I don't get it. Does a printer prints differently in Africa than in Asia ? Does this customization includes other things than "the printer is programmed to refuse to work" ? If not how is this related to "customer needs" ?
