Hello I need to support anybody who can help me.
Due to lack of color ink in my printer, I used to use the printer with one cartridge mode with black ink.
However, even if there is no color cartridge, the error message is shown up "remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge making sure it is correctly installed without cartridge" -> Indicated ink means color one
So, I was trying to do everything what I can do, I can not find solution.
Currently I do not have new color cartridge, so I can not check if it will be ok after re-installation of new cartridge
But regardless of this solution, I think the error message for color cartridge without the cartridge should be un problem
Hoping somebody help me please

@kjh104565, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I see that the printer is in error state, let us try to isolate and resolve the issue. Follow the steps below-
Reset the printer
- Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello.
Thank you for your feedback.
unfortunately, I have already done the the recommended step by you
- Reset : Already done, but there is still same issue
- Firmware : I was trying to update it. But it seems not applicable for my case as my firmware is already latest one
Even I reached the firmware update process page, the button for update was not activated.
So, it would be very appreciated, if you let me know for another way to fix it
Thanks in advance
