Today I bought and installed four new genuine HP cartridges. I am now getting a message that says “Cartridge Problem:

Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed.” All four cartridges are indicated. They are installed properly - I have installed cartridges before with no problem. I unplugged the printer for 10 minutes, then plugged it back in, then I took the cartridges out and cleaned the contacts with a lint-free cloth, but the problem is still occurring. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you insert your old ink do you still get the error message?

Hi,

To add further, what exact cartridge number have you installed?

 

Is this the same number as listed on the label within the cartridge access door of the printer?

 

May you include a picture of your ink cartridges labels?
