Envy inspire 7200e series

I had the message that I was running low on black ink, so I changed the cartridge , but when replaced the error message " the indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the printer. If this problem persists , replace the cartridge" I replaced the cartridge and I have exactly the same error message. I have turned it off and back on again but message persists and printer will not work at all.

If you're experiencing a cartridge problem with your HP printer, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the cartridges are correctly installed in the printer. Open the printer cover, remove the cartridges, and then reinsert them securely. Make sure they are inserted in their respective slots and are seated properly.

Clean Cartridge Contacts: Sometimes, dust or debris can accumulate on the cartridge contacts, causing connectivity issues. Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord. Remove the cartridges and gently clean the electrical contacts on both the cartridge and the printer using a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water. Allow the contacts to dry completely before reinserting the cartridges.

John
