Hi all, I moved to Germany 2 years ago and have a HP Photosmart C4795 that I bought in the US. Unfortunately I can't buy the needed HP 60 cartridges in Germany - they sell the HP 300 which are identical to the HP 60. I called the HP support in Germany and they helped me change the cartridge recognition to HP 300 but the printer did not take it - the similar to mý printer in Germany is the HP C4780, maybe that is why it did not work. Can anyone from the US assist me to change the cartridge recognition from HP 60 to HP 300 - the printer still works fine - would hate to have to buy a new one.
Thanks in advance

Thank you very much for your response. I ended up contacting the HP support customer service in Germany again. The issue was when we tried it the first time that the printer was not hooked up via USB cable rather via Wi-Fi.
The HP support representative went through the regionalization process again, and this time it worked. The printer now except the HP 300 cartridges. Success!!! 😊👌
Thanks again to HP for all the help and support.
Regards,
Sven

@Sven71, thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and understand that you have an HP Photosmart C4795 All-in-One Printer that was purchased in US and now you have moved to Germany. I read that the HP Germany team tried to regionalise the printer so that it accepts German cartridges and due to some reason the local HP German cartridges are not accepted by the printer.
I would like to inform you that the printer must have the US cartridge installed in it for the regionalisation to complete. I will send you the HP US tech support phone number via a private message. Please contact HP phone support. Please check if you have the US cartridges available to make the regionalisation successful. Cheers! 🙂
