@esimpson, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding an error message!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I see you're getting this "Check Your Account" message on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e, and I totally get how frustrating that can be—especially when you don’t have any active HP subscriptions. Don’t worry, let’s get this sorted out together!

Here are a few things to check:

Restart Everything – Sometimes, a simple restart does the trick. Try turning off your printer, unplugging it for about a minute, and then turning it back on. Also, restart your Wi-Fi router and the device you're printing from.

Check Your HP Account – Even if you don’t have a subscription, your printer might still be linked to HP Instant Ink or another service. Log in to HP Smart and look for any messages under your account. If you see anything about Instant Ink, you may need to cancel it.

Remove & Re-add the Printer – If there's a glitch in the connection, removing your printer from HP Smart and re-adding it can sometimes refresh things.

Update Your Printer’s Firmware – Outdated firmware can cause weird errors. You can update it directly from your printer’s settings or through the HP Support website.

Factory Reset (if needed) – If none of the above work, a factory reset might be the best option. Just keep in mind that this will remove any saved settings, so it’s a last resort.

If you still see the error after trying these steps, let me know! I’m happy to help troubleshoot further. 😊

Looking forward to your update!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
