Color 952 xl cartridges

I have a new 8720 printer and have a question on the cartridges. The black has a wider slot for the xl cartridge. I see HP has the three colors also in xl capacity. The slots for the colors are all the same, bieng narrower than the black. Can I assume that the color xl cartridges are the same size as the normal color cartridges??

The 952XL color cartridges do fit in the existing holder in the Office jet Pro 8720.  Unlike the black which have a physically larger XL cartridge, the color XL and standard cartridges are the same physical size.  The color XL cartridges do contain more ink, they are rated at 1600 pages vs 700 for the standard color cartridges.

So the color cartridges will definitely fit into the slot without any issues.
