Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Our office just purchased a Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdn - did not realize that it doesn't have wireless connection capabilities. However, we are trying to use a usb to print a PDF. When I hook it up it shows the pdf I am trying to print and when I press the print button it immediately cancels the job. How can we solve this?
