Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Color laserjet Pro MFP M283cdw stuck in a cycle of 79 service Error and Initializing.  I uninstalled printer software and reinstalled.  Unplugged printer and router and plugged back in router and printer.  Ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor multiple times.  Successfully printed a Diagnostics Page (only once, not the second time.  Must have caught it between cycles the first time.)

Appears to have also fixed my issue. Looks like the recent firmware update clashes with some of the stored settings. I was having trouble scanning and printing (even the sample forms and reports the printer prints itself) and this resolved my issues.

Looking at similar, older posts on this problem, it looks like I need to do a full printer reset.  I would imagine the steps are straightforward from the printer screen, but if anyone wants to send me the instructions, that would be great!
