I replaced my ink and the color will not work. Only after changing to a PDF it worked for 2 prints. Now its back to B/W. There is no option to change to color option in the control panel print props.

Welcome to HP Community
Please print a Quality Diagnostic and this will help us determine if it's a Hardware or driver issue
-
Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.
-
On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup
.
-
Touch Tools.
-
Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.
A Print Quality Diagnostic report prints.
Keep me posted if you see the colors while printing the Diagnostic Page😊

The print looks just like the image. Going through troubleshooting I had a Windows Printer test page printed. When I had the prints working the page printed with Windows blue logo color letter head. Now its Gray. Every test print and adjustment is emptiing my black ink I just bought yesterday. I have gone throught the steps from the Print Quality Diag. print. Printer still prints monochromatic. Any other things I could try? The PDF file print page show the image ready to print in "color". Default color mode is Monochrome. I change that to color and prints come out monochrome. I change output options color mode from the default monochrome to color. Prints come out monochrome. Any other options?

Does the Print Quality Diagnostic Page show all the colors?
If the Diagnostic Page shows the colors, then uninstall the printer driver from root level and install the full feature software
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions\
Also ensure Adobe is up to date
