HP OfficeJet Pro 7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I have a HP 7720 printer and I'm running Windows 10.  I keep getting an error saying that the cartridge door is open when it is closed. I have unplugged from the back side of the printer an uplugged from the wall, allowed 5 minutes or so before plugging it back in, when it turns back on I get 2 pages printed then it tells me the door is open even though I haven't opened it. I tried cleaning anything I can find. I've tried everything that I've seen in the forums and what hp's website and haven't got anywhere. I'll get a couple of pages printed then i get the error on the computer again and it will not print.

I look forward to the advice

I reinstalled the driver to the most up to date. Still the issue persisted. I put tape over the door to hold it shut just in case it was possibly shaking and tripping the sensor. That still didn't work. Anytime I needed to print I had to turn the printer off and back on. I did that about 5 more times and all of a sudden it started working correctly again.... it may just be time for a new printer.

Reinstall the printer driver, use the latest drivers from hp.com don't use Microsoft drivers
