@Sukh1736, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP InkJet 2800e.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

If the control panel on your HP Inkjet 2800e printer starts flashing when you turn it on and prevents any print jobs from being processed, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Check Printer Status Lights:

    • Refer to the printer's manual to understand what the flashing lights indicate. Different patterns or colors can represent different problems (e.g., paper jam, low ink).
  2. Reset the Printer:

    • Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the back.
    • Wait for about 60 seconds.
    • Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn it on.
  3. Check for Paper Jams:

    • Open the printer to check if there is any paper stuck inside.
    • Remove any jammed paper carefully.
  4. Verify Cartridges:

    • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed.
    • Remove and reinsert the cartridges to ensure they are seated correctly.
  5. Printer Software and Drivers:

    • Ensure you have installed the latest printer drivers and software from the HP website that are compatible with your operating system.
  6. Wireless Connection:

    • If the printer is connected wirelessly, confirm it’s connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
    • Restart your router if necessary.
  7. HP Smart App:

    • Use the HP Smart app for troubleshooting any additional printer errors. The app can offer insights and updates directly for the printer.
  8. Factory Reset:

    • As a last resort, if the problem persists, you might opt to reset the printer to its factory settings. This can often resolve persistent issues, but refer to your printer's manual for the exact steps.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
