This issue is still going. There was no additional support. HP asked for my serial number and were unable to answer any questions regarding this printer due to it being out of warranty? I thought this was a message board I could seeK help from so I’m asking if anyone knows answers for this ongoing issue I have been having regarding the printer not being able to connect wirelessly? I would appreciate it greatly. My questions again are:
Does the D110a have the compatibility to access the EWS page while it’s connected to a hotspot?
Is there ANY other way to adjust settings for my printer so it recognizes DHCP? All-in-all the problem here is the printer is setting itself to AutoIP while only connected to my gateway.
In your opinion why would the printer be the only device that’s not able to receive a valid ip and having these difficulties? Does my explanation of the outdated wireless technology on the printer being old seem like a logical explanation? It has me puzzled how I can connect to the hotspots wirelessly and print wirelessly off it. Again my gateway is a new Xfinity Xb7. They just came out. It’s the most advanced tech available now with the capability Maximum Data Throughput being 2.5 Gbps. Seems like that’s the only thing I can come up with. I know for certain that the wireless card in the printer is not a gigabit wireless card.

Did you ever find a solution for this issue? I also have the D110 all in one printer, just upgraded to the x7 xfinity gateway and now cant get the printer to connect to the WiFi. It worked on the x6 modem but i was told i should also change my WiFi password since it contained a space for a character. Once i changed the password now the printer no longer connects. Even using the WPS method it still wont connect to the gateway. Been on technical support with xfinity for hours on end with no resolution. Shouldn't have to buy a new printer just because of this, really mad because i just bought ink for the printer.

HP never provided a solution. I went through a very thorough and detailed explanation on here and through the private message with HP to be told the printer is out of warranty. They did not provide 1 troubleshooting step other than to reboot my connection.
Thing is, it’s not a problem with XB7 gateway. I would say that it was an issue with the gateway if the printer wasn’t the only device that’s unable to connect wirelessly, but it’s not. I have so many other devices connected wirelessly with no issues at all. Something with the printer is just not communicating properly with the XB7 and I just don’t understand it. There has to be some sort of fix but you name it and I’ve done it.
If you do find a fix please update. If I find anything new out I’ll do the same.
