HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw (CF379A)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I find that the date / time keeps changing on my HP printer.  The same thing is happening to my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw at work using a difference windows 10 computer

I noticed this issue after getting complaints my faxes had the wrong date.  Most times the printer reverts to January 1, 2000 however I have noticed that now after faxing it has reverted to January 1, 1970.  I change the date back to the correct date and after a few faxes the date will change to the incorrect date

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw (CF379A) printer

Purchased November 2018

Connected to HP Windows 10 PC via USB

Printer stays powered on at all times unless there is a power outage

Printer is plugged into a wall outlet and not a power bar

Windows PC is powered down at night

I believe the printer has the latest software

Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Have you checked to see if you possibly have NTP turned on and the time server is not valid?
