Whatever I print has a thick edged black rectangular shape often with other shapes within the box. It would appear to be some sort of watermark. How can my printer be adjusted so this ‘watermark’ is not printed. I cannot find anything in settings about watermarks. Thank you.

Hi,
Can you see any similar results when printing a Printer Status Report?
Can you see the same results when printing from other applications on your PC, such as Word for an example, or may it only happen when you print from any specific application?
Finally, could you also remove any paper from the input tray, make sure it is clear from both sides and there is no used paper in the tray by any chance, just to make sure...
Cheers,
Shlomi

Thank you.
I get the ‘watermark’ when printing a status report.
I get the same result printing from any application, Word, web page.
I get the watermark when I print wirelessly from my iPhone.
I don’t follow what you mean in your last paragraph but I can confirm there is fresh paper in the paper input tray.
