I have a yellow ink cartridge that is depleted but I need to print some material that is just black and white and haven't received my replacement cartridge yet and the printer will not let me print.  Is there a work around?

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I understand that the yellow cartridge is empty and you cannot print in black.

HP Printer is designed in such a way that if one of the cartridges is empty the printer will not print, It will give you an error message.

While printing a document or photo HP printer will uses all the cartridge in the printer while printing.

I suggest you replace the cartridge to resume printing.

Hope this answers your queries!
