The printer will not recognize the HP 65 print cartridges installed.  It keeps saying that the ink cartridge in incompatable.  It's a genuine HP 65 Print Cartridge!!

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting incomparable cartridge error on your HP DeskJet 3755 Printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

Make sure the ink cartridges are compatible.

Make sure the ink cartridges are correctly installed.

Clean the electrical contacts.

Remove and reinsert the ink cartridges again.

Reset the printer.

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  4. Wait at least 10 seconds.

  5. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  6. Turn on the printer

Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.

It did not help... the error is still there.  I even returned the cartidges and brought home new cartridges and it still won't recognize them.  It calls for hp 65 and that's what I have.  I will return the printer to Costco in the morning and go with another brand.
