I just bought a DeskJet GT 5820 and when I tried printing colored on papers MAGENTA is not working at all. Other colors are fine. Instead of a red color ot will come out yellow. What should I do?

If there are smears of ink on the back of your printouts, use an automated tool to resolve the issue.
-
Load paper into the input tray.
-
Press and hold the Power button, press the Cancel button
three times, press the Start Copy Color button
eight times, and then release the Power button.
The printer feeds one page slowly. The printer might make some noise for approximately one minute.
-
Wait until the page ejects from the printer before you remove it.
-
Examine the test page.
Try making a Photocopy and let me know if you get those smudges

Insert the cartridge back again.
Do not close the blue latch.
Slowly press the rubber/plastic flow pipe two to three times which enable the ink to flow...PRIMING.
Now Close the latch.
Don't mind about the warning msg in the printer... 'blue latch to be removed only when replacing cartridge'
Hurray .. its done
