Product: Deskjet 2540 All in one series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My deskjet 2540 had been working fine until one day I tried turning it on and it simply does not power on. The green light on the power supply cord is on, and when I unplug and then plug the cord back into the wall the lights on the printer flash on and then off, and nothing happens when I press the power button. Could it be that my power cord needs to be replaced?

I'd suggest you follow the steps from the document Printer Does Not Turn On and if the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
