Hi,
I'm having issues with my Deskjet 2544 all in one printer. It started when i tried to print a colour copy of my passport last night. It printed only in a very faded grey scale. I tried several ways to rectify with no success (printing from different formats, changing properties etc).
This morning i have tried downloading new drivers and firmware etc but nothing works. The printer won't print the test page, i just get a transferring file message then nothing happens, no error message on screen or at printer, printer doesn't sound like it's trying to do anything. I've checked everything in the utilities page but everything seems fine there too.
Does anyone have any experience of this?
Thanks,
Allan

Hi @WeeAl
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
Check the estimated ink levels
On the MAC, click on the Apple icon > System preferences > Printers and scanners > Choose your printer > Options and supplies. Replace any low or empty ink cartridges.
Perform steps 12 and 8 respectively from this document.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
