Hi,
For some unknown reason I can no longer rpr8nt from my android phone. I have been able to before and never had any issues. All of a sudden it stopped and nothing changed to trigger this. It just says printer spool error.
Any advice??

Hi @Lynne70c,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're encountering a "printer spool error" when trying to print from your Android phone to your HP DeskJet 2630 printer, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Here's a step-by-step guide.
-
Check Printer Connection:
- Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
- Verify that both your Android phone and the printer have a stable and active internet connection.
-
Restart Devices:
- Turn off both your Android phone and the HP DeskJet 2630 printer.
- Wait for a few seconds, then turn them back on.
- Try printing again.
-
Update HP Print Service Plugin:
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for "HP Print Service Plugin" and check if there is an update available. If so, update the app.
-
Clear Print Spooler (Android):
- Go to "Settings" on your Android device.
- Navigate to "Apps" or "Application Manager" (the exact name may vary).
- Find and select "Print Spooler."
- Tap on "Storage" and then "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data."
- Restart your Android device and try printing again.
-
Reinstall HP Print Service Plugin:
- Uninstall the HP Print Service Plugin from your Android device.
- Reinstall it from the Google Play Store.
- Set it up again and try printing.
-
Check for Printer Firmware Updates:
- Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. If so, follow the instructions to update the firmware.
-
Check for App Updates:
- Ensure that the app you're using to print from your Android device is up to date. Check for updates on the Google Play Store.
-
Printer Software Reinstallation:
- Remove the printer from your Android device and then reinstall it.
- Go to your Android device's settings, select "Print," and remove the HP DeskJet 2630.
- Re-add the printer and try printing again.
-
Check for Android System Updates:
- Make sure your Android device has the latest software updates installed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
