Hi @Sha94,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When all the lights on your HP DeskJet 2700 printer are blinking, and it displays an "E" on the screen, it usually indicates that there is a problem with the printer. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check for Paper Jams: Make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer. Open the printer cover and check for any stuck paper or debris. If you find any, carefully remove it.
- Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Check for Ink Cartridge Issues: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have enough ink. If the cartridges are low on ink or empty, replace them with new ones.
- Reset the Printer: If a factory reset didn't work, try a different reset procedure. To do this, turn off the printer, then hold down the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. Release the buttons, and the printer should reset.
- Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes, outdated or corrupted printer drivers can cause issues. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer.
- Inspect for Hardware Issues: If the problem persists, there may be a hardware issue with the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
