HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

Deskjet 2755e E3 error code will not resolve. Recently, the ability to scan went out. I did not choose to repair it since I don't scan as much. Today, I turned on the printer to print something out but it showed an E3 error code. I went through troubleshooting and there is no paper jam and there is no obstruction of the ink carraige. I have taken the steps to reset and it still will not resolve. I mainly print from my phone and I have used the smart app as well as going to website. Thank you.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer that has an error code.

Please follow the steps below to fix the issue.

 

A) Perform a power drain.

 

1) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

2) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

3) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

4) Power on the printer and check if the carriage moves to the center to replace the ink cartridges

 

B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.

 

C) Refer to the steps on this link to troubleshoot further to release the carriage jam.

D) If the issue still persists, refer to the steps on this link to restore factory defaults and let me know if that resolves the issue.

The error code changed to E0. I went through the recommended steps to fix it and then it went back to E3. I cannot update the firmware from the app, the control panel or from the internet. Is it time to take it outside with a bat, yet?

I am sorry to hear that the above steps did not help much but i do appreciate your efforts in performing the troubleshooting steps.
