I spent 2 hours trying to solve an error e0, cleaning, restarting, updating firmware etc!!! only to find out that the ink cartridges do not work without an active ink subscription - so if you signed up for the ink subscription & then cancelled, any inks you received during that time will not work until your re-activate your subscription.

@Sexyclair, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
We understand that you are getting E0 error with your HP DeskJet 2810e All-in-One Printer.
If you have canceled instant ink subscription, please remove the instant ink cartridges and purchase Original HP Ink or Toner directly from the retailer of your choice to continue printing. Instant Ink cartridges only work in enrolled printers.
Once you have replaced the instant ink cartridges, the printer should work fine. If you still face the issue, Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Check Cartridge Installation: Make sure the cartridges are installed correctly. Remove them and reinstall them, ensuring they are securely seated in their slots.
Remove Protective Tape: Sometimes new cartridges come with protective tape or seals. Ensure you have removed any protective covering from the cartridges before installing them.
Clean Cartridge Contacts: If the cartridge contacts or printer contacts are dirty, it can cause communication errors. Gently clean the contacts on both the cartridges and the printer with a lint-free cloth.
Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes reset the printer and clear error messages.
Update Printer Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with new cartridges.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
