I originally purchased this printer in 2013-2014 timeframe and originally was able to connect to a WiFi network. Today, I attempted to install the printer and connect wirelessly to a Technicolor MediaAccess TC8717T Modem/Router from Spectrum/Time Warner. I also downloaded the installation software from HP's website and the printer installed fine via USB, but wasn't able to connect to the WiFi router despite pulling accurate SSID and password info from my router. I've included a screenshot of the error.
When I try to use the WiFi Protected Setup in the printer menu, in conjunction with the "Add printer or device" option in Windows' "Device" menu, Windows recognizes the printer. However, when I enter the password/passkey, it appears to install/setup, but doesn't actually do so.
Attached are my Wireless Test Report and Printer Status Reports, if those are helpful. I noticed in this last Wireless Test Report, that security was showing as a FAIL. In my router settings, I'm currently set for WPA/WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES) security mode.
Wireless Test Report
I'm hopeful this can be resolved, as I'd like to continue using the printer. However, due to its age, it may not be compatible with today's WiFi technology. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Wow, first person to supply all the data we need.
Well, you have a Gateway device. These are terrible for wireless connectivity. With that said...
Reset the printer back to Network Defaults.
The printer will disconnect from the network. To reconfigure the wireless printer settings, see Connect a new printer.
1. Press the Wireless button to display the Wireless Menu.
2. From the Wireless Menu, select Settings.
3. From the Settings menu, select Restore Defaults.
4. Confirm selection to restore defaults.
In the router, temporarily disable all security on your SSID. Now try to connect to your unsecured SSID with no password. Are you successful?
If yes, go back and add WPA2-AES with a password and try again. Are you successful?
If no, in the router set the security to WPA only. Now try to connect. Are you successful?
Let us know.

Tried both options and, on both occasions, the setup request timed out and returned an error message stating "WPS Error." The Wireless Test Report stated my Wireless Radio was "off." However, this is incorrect.

Guess being the first person ever to provide all the data doesnt necesarily get your problem addressed.
I'm having this issues after the printer has been in use for years on this same router, a solution would have been a great end to the thread.
