Microsoft Windows 11

I recently upgraded an old Windows 10 desktop to a new Windows 11 Home system. Before upgrading, I had no issues printing anything. After the upgrade, I cannot print documents. My primary documentation app OpenOffice, however the same issue presents in MS Word and even Adobe Acrobat Reader. I can print emails through apps and browsers, but not through those word processing apps.

I have installed the full HP driver and software suite on the new computer and ensured the HP drivers are present and being used. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the printer from the computer as well as both HP and word processing software, still no luck. I can't find where this is a known issue; perhaps I'm missing something? Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Try removing all the drivers from windows then have windows "find" the printer

Run the following app from the command line

printui /s

Install the full feature driver and then search for the printer
