Printer is showing E3 carriage jam error, Carriage is able to slide however it seems to be blocked by a black retractable arm that is stuck in the extended position. I'm hoping to get answers to the following questions:
what is the name of this part?
what purpose does it serve?
how to fix the printer to get it to print again?
