I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to print insurance ID cards from a PDF format. Every time I print the document, it cuts off the bottom of it. I have tried reducing the scale but it has no effect. it prints out exactly the same as it would at 100% scale. Both the computer and the printer are HP so this should not be an issue. I have run the diagnostics through the HP printing app which shows no issue. How can I resolve this?

Hi,

The pritner do not support borderless printing and offer a minimum print margins as following, it must match (or exceed) these margin settings in the portrait orientation:

Top, Right, Left: 3mm (0.3cm)

Bottom: 12.7mm (1.27cm)

You may find its specifications below, see Paper-handling specifications > Print margins

how is the shown bottom margin you describe measured?

The bottom margin measures 1.5 inches. I checked the print margins on chrome and even when they are set to 0, the document still cuts off the same portion. It seems to have resolved when I installed the HP Print for Chrome app. Thank you for your assistance.
