Set up my printer last night. Ran all the test pages, everything worked great.  This morning, I am trying to print and I get an error message that states Encryption Credentials Expired.  And I do not understand what this means or how to get it fixed. Recognizing PrinterRecognizing PrinterSending to printerSending to printerShowing print cue and error message concerning credentialsShowing print cue and error message concerning credentialsShowing default printer as idleShowing default printer as idle

@EnlaHuerta,

Thank you for reaching out to the HP Support community!

  • Are you able to make a copy from the printer?

Let's try these steps:

Step 1: Restart the Printer and the MAC

  • Restart the Router if the printer is connected on WiFi.
  • Turn off the printer, wait for 60 seconds and turn it back on.
  • Restart the MAC
  • Try to print
  • If the issue persists, proceed to the next step

Step 2: Remove and re-add the printer driver.

  • Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences.

  • Click Printers & Scanners or Print & Scan.
  • If your printer is listed, click the name of your printer, then click the minus signhttps://support.hp.com/doc-images/161/c01861703.gif to delete the printer.
  • Click the plus signhttps://support.hp.com/doc-images/466/c03678294.gif, click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer.
  • Click the Use or Print Using menu, then select the name of your printer.

     ( For printers connected on Wireless select AirPrint or Secure Airprint)

  • Click Add to add the printer to the list.
  • Try to print again and check if that fixes the issue
