I had just replaced the tri-Colour 78, and black 45 on my old 930c printer. I got 3 A4 sheets printed and as it was printing the 4th sheet (set to colour and normal) the print stopped barely a quarter down the page and the ink cartridge light flashed on. I went through the process of opening the lid to see the arrow pointing to the colour cartridge fault (far left). This was strange as a new cartridge - even the reconditioned ones last longer than this, and this would suggest a cartridge / or cradle sensor was at fault rather than a low ink). I had removed the cartridges and rehoused them just in case they needed reinstalled. But no change same error. I also tried clearing the current print job, powering off, disconnecting the power and data cable and leaving for 10 mins. But no change same error. As I had spare cartridges on the 78, and 45 I replaced both of them. But still the same error. I tried to see the trouble shooting on this but the link to cleaning cartridge contacts was 2009 and the link fails to work. Like others that have posted before, I have used this HP 930c for decades with good reliable print, but I am concerned that it may have finally failed. I have looked at the online User manual but it does not go as far as I need. Unless anyone could advise?
